FFP Benchmark document

The FFP Review Committee has developed the Fair Flowers Fair Plants Benchmark Document that serves to benchmark certification programmes of certification organisations that want to participate in the FFP label initiative. The Review Committee investigates whether a certification programm complies with the benchmark and advises the FFP Board on accepting this certification programm as a programm to be used for the Fair Flowers Fair Plants label.

Benchmarking is a process in which organisations evaluate various aspects of their processes in relation to best practice. As for Fair Flowers Fair Plants, best practice for the horticultural sector is the ICC (International Code of Conduct) combined with the MPS-A (or equal) registration level.
